I’m a third-year Broadcast Journalism student at the University of Salford with a passion for telling compelling stories and making news accessible and engaging. From April 2024 to June 2025, I served as Network Manager at Shock Radio & TV - where I am now Head of Events & Marketing and Treasurer.
One of my proudest achievements has been co-creating and launching 'The Shock News Show', a fast-paced multimedia current affairs programme inspired by BBC Newscast and the dynamic, conversational tone of Radio 5 Live. As a dedicated follower of current affairs and someone who thrives in live, reactive environments, I have always been interested in how news is delivered in ways that engage and reflect diverse audiences. Last year, I was honoured to receive the Silver SRA Award for ‘Best Newcomer’ to student radio in 2024, which recognised the impact I had made on the station in my first year.
Outside of my academic and broadcasting commitments, I’m passionate about spending time near and on the water, enjoying sailing and swimming whenever I can. I also love spending time outdoors through long walks and hikes in the countryside, which help me recharge.
